Morels rank among one of the best mushrooms in the world. They are the second most in demand after the truffle. The flavor of morels is wonderful and strong and absolutely beyond comparison to any other food its unique taste is prized by cooks worldwide.
The most incredible fruiting occurs in the Rocky Mountains and westward in the spring following a forest fire where large stands of timber burned.

Studies have revealed that Morels help to reduce the risk of cancer especially prostate as they contain a high level of niacin and selenium. They are also high in antioxidants, which boosts the immune system.

Can be dried or fresh-freezed. Cannot be eaten raw but it retains its flavor when dried.
